Trip to England and Sri Lanka
In the summer of 2011 we took a trip to England and Sri Lanka. In England we visited with Ram's cousin Mani and his Family. In Sri Lanka we visited with Ram's mom and dad and family. Ram's brother and his family met us in Sri Lanka with their friends Greg and Erica. We had a lot of during our vacation. Ananth's Family Visit to the US 2010
It was great to see Ananth, Sharee, Shyama and Meera again after three long years! They made the long trek from Melbourne, Australia to Cincinnati to visit with us. For the most part, we made a big road-trip out of the vacation. The trip included stops in Toronto, Niagara Falls, Plymouth, Massachusetts, Martha's Vineyard, Boston and New York. California Wine Country 2009
Michele and I had an enjoyable trip to the northern California Wine Country this November. Although we visited a few "big" wineries, we focused on exploring some of the lesser-known smaller wineries. We split our time between wineries in Napa Valley and Russian River Valley and Alexander Valley (Sonoma County). Europe 2009
This summer we spent our vacation in the southern coastal region of Algarve in Portugal and in the mediterranean part of southern Spain. We also spent some time in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal and in Seville, the home of bull fighting and Flamenco Dancing. We also took a day trip to the city of Tangiers in Morocco, a North African country that is less than 20 miles from the southern tip of Spain. Europe 2009 Page

Christmas 2008
Once again Jack had the whole family over for a fabulous Christmas dinner at his place. The kids had a blast opening presents and the adults had fun drinking wine, having good conversations and enjoying the food. Here are the Christmas Day Pictures. Europe 2008
This year Ram took delivery his BMW in Germany and the family drove down to the Tuscany region of Italy for our vacation. On the way down to and from Italy, we visited Austria and Switzerland as well. Please view the Europe 2008 page below Europe 2008 Page

Australia 2007
For our vacation this year we went to Australia for about 3½ weeks to visit with Ananth, Sharee, Shyama and Meera. We spent time in Melbourne and also travelled to Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Please check out the Australia 2007 page below. Australia 2007 Page

California Adventure
Ok, so we decided to hang out in Southern California for a while (temporarily of course). We were looking at it as a work and play adventure, an extended vacation. We were there from August 2006 through January 2007. We left sunny California and got back to Cincinnati at The begining of February - went from 70 something degrees to 20 something degrees! Meera Ann Siva is here
Ananth and Sharee have been blessed with the birth of their second daughter. Meera Ann was born on July 14, 2006 and weighed 7 lbs oz. She was X inches long. Both mommy and baby are doing fine. Meera's Newborn Pictures

Visit to Sri Lanka (March 2006)
After a very long time, the whole family took a wonderful vacation to Sri Lanka in March 2006. Ram's brother Ananth, his wife Sharee and their daughter Shyama flew all the way from Australia to join us in Sri Lanka. Jay Kiran is Born
Michele and I were blessed with our second child, a baby boy, Jay Kiran Sivakumaran on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006. Jay was born at 8:45am and weighed 6 lbs 10.6 oz, and was 20.5 in long. He was born with dark brown hair (lots of it!) and dark brown eyes. Both mom and baby are doing fine. Big sister Maya is very excited about her baby brother. Pictures | Videos

The Braces are Finally Off

After 3½ years of orthodontic work and an upper and lower jaw surgery, Ram's braces finally came off. Thanks to exceptional jobs by both doctors James Thacker and Michael Lee and their staff, I am very happy with the results. Check out the before and after pictures here. Enter at your own risk!

We are Expecting our Second Child

We are happy to have found out that Michele is expecting a boy, due in January 2005. Maya is very excited about her baby brother and is ready to be the 'big' sister! Michele had her second Ultrasound check last Monday (August 22, 2005) - please check out the pictures below. Ultrasound Pictures

Germany & France, 2005
We just got back from a very enjoyable trip to Germany and France. In Munich we took European delivery of our new car and drove it to France for Ram's cousin Mani's wedding in Mont Saint Michel, Normandy.
In Paris we met up with Ram's brother Ananth, his wife Shari and their daughter Shyama who flew in from Australia. A few days later we also met up with Ram's cousin Sethu and his wife Nirooshi. Maya Turns Three

It seems like just yesterday we were still changing poopy diapers, but our little girl is not little anymore - We celebrated Maya's third birthday the last week of June. Please check out the pictures from the party here.

Tsunami Tragedy

We wanted to let everyone know that Ram's family is safe and sound in Sri Lanka after the devastating Tsunami hit Sri Lanka. Our thoughts and prayers are with the numerous families that have lost their loved ones and their livelihood all across South Asia. We hope Sri Lanka and all other countries affected will have a speedy recovery from this terrible event.

Lance and Joy's Wedding

Michele Graduates from Law School

Congratulations Michele! Michele graduated from Chase Law School with a Juris Doctorate on May 15, 2004. This was indeed a great achievement considering all the while she was in Law School, she worked a full-time job and took care of our two year old daughter. Now come the Bar Exams (Ohio and Kentucky)! Update: Michele passed her Bar Exam on her first try in the Spring of 2005 and is now officially an Attorney. Fantastic job Michele!            Graduation Pictures

Kappa Delta Rho brother Rich Colombatto and his fiancee Reagan Desamoni got married on May 28, 2004 in Cincinnati. Florida in December

We decided to drive south to Florida after Christmas to get away from the cold Cincinnati weather. We took Maya to Disney World and Sea World. Although we doubt she will remember the trip in a few years, she did have loads of fun. To my surprise, Michele and I had a lot of fun as well. Two years ago we would have never imagined us at a theme park - how are lives have changed!

Maya's 1st Birtday Party, June 28, 2003

We celebrated Maya's 1st birthday on Saturday, June 28th. It was a fun event that was attended by friends and relatives including Ram's relatives from Canada. Ram's mom flew in from Sri Lanka on the 27th just in time for the party! She certainly enjoyed seeing her first grandchild for the first time. Many of Maya's friends including Vanessa, Camelia, Zack, Ashley, Abishay, Risheb and Sammy made this day an extra special one. Please check out the pictures from the party here.

San Francisco Trip, March 7-9, 2003

She's Here!

Maya Nicole Sivakumaran was born on June 28th at 1:03 pm. She weighed 6 lbs 5.6 oz and was 20 inches long. She came into this world with a full head of black hair and light gray eyes. She is such a cute baby. Please check out Baby Maya's Page, where you will find more pictures of her.

Sri Lanka, April 2002
